MACMILLAN Cancer Support is holding two walks, both suitable for all levels of fitness, the first on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 is The Bure Valley Railway walk, offering 10 choices of walks over the weekend ranging from three or nine miles in length.

The route runs alongside the Bure Valley Railway line through the picturesque Norfolk countryside. All the options include free refreshments and a free steam train trip for everyone taking part.

The second, The Walk in the Clouds, is on Sunday, May 10 and gives a choice of either a five or 10 mile walk. Walkers start and finish at Moot Hall, Aldeburgh, following the inland path through the North Warren nature reserve, before taking the coastal path, through the village of Thorpeness, giving walkers the chance to enjoy everything the unspoilt coast line has to offer.

Literally every step you take and every penny you raise will take Macmillan Cancer Support a step closer to realising their ambition of reaching everyone with cancer.

The annual events have raised over 200,000 for cancer patients and their family and friends since they began. The money raised will go towards a variety of services that Macmillan provides, including: Macmillan Nurses, emotional, medical, financial and practical support. It will also help the charity to get a step closer to achieve its ambition of being able to help everyone affected by cancer.
