CIRCUS impresario Peter Jay has launched a one-off competition to find the title of his new 2010 Hippodrome Summer Spectacular - which starts on July 14 at the historic Great Yarmouth venue.

Acts are already booked for the show, including a Wheel of Death from Colombia incorporating forward somersaults, a hand to hand duo balancing act from Poland featured on a specially built island in the centre of the unique Hippodrome water spectacular, and Jack Jay

and Johnny Mac, who return with all-new comedy in this clown-free production.

Also featured are the award- winning Robert Foxhall - “the man who can fly” - with a brand new cloudswing act over the water, a trampoline act full of comedy madness from Russian Vladimir Georgievsky, plus a team of glamorous dancers, swimmers and aerialists.

Mr Jay said: “We have been searching for a one word title that demonstrates the spectacular fun, thrills and excitement of this show - but can't seem to come up with just the right word - so I've decided to pick the public's brains!”

The winner will receive VIP family tickets, a signed, framed souvenir poster of the show, and a VIP day to meet all the artists. Past titles include Escape (2007), Vertigo (2008) and Celebrate (2009).

Names for the Summer Spectacular should be sent to Hippodrome Circus Show Name Competition, St Georges Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2EU or submitted to hippodromecircus
