AN exciting new season of professional live theatre will open next month.

Creative Arts East will bring the Rogue Theatre Company to Caister High School on February 11 at 7.30pm to perform their new play, The Family. The play is about an eccentric family who live in an isolated, brooding mansion deep in the forest. Their supper party is disturbed by a ghostly figure lurking in the shadows. Naturally the family is gripped by fear. The performance is enhanced by the brilliant band of musicians, called The Thieves, who combine the passion and romance of Romany rhythms, with the haunting melancholy of tango, cabaret, jazz and blues.

Half term fun is promised at Freehand Theatre Company's captivating puppet show Who's Been Sitting in My Chair? which will be presented at Fleggburgh Village Hall on February 17 at 2.30pm.

This is an enchanting musical presentation of the well-known tale and culminates in a bear hunt. Suitable for children aged three and upwards, tickets are available on 01493 369878/369486 and will also be available on the door.
