If you’re looking to plan a workplace Christmas night out, or just a fun evening with friends, get yourself down to St George’s Theatre, Great Yarmouth on Friday, December 9, for a fantastic evening of stand up comedy.
The Christmas Stand Up, presented by WCB Comedy, sees the return of one of the biggest crowd favourites at St George’s - former UK Pun Champion, the hilarious Pun Man, Leo Kearse. Comedy super hero Pun Man was a massive hit at WCB’s birthday party earlier this year.
Joining Pun Man as the MC for the evening is another big crowd favourite, the outstanding Laura Lexx. Laura has been nominated for Compere of the Year at the prestigious Chortle 2016 Comedy Awards. Her quick wit, fast one liners, and audience participation made her a big hit with the crowd earlier this year.
Completing the evening is the very first East Coast Comedian of the Year competition. Eight up and coming comics from around the UK are taking to the stage to compete to be crowned as the 2016 winner. The finalists are Isac Radu, Javier Costales, Daniel Gallagher, Duane Efron, Hannah Silvester, Trev Tokabi, Jake Howie and Si Deaves.
The evening starts at 8.30pm, and tickets are selling fast. Priced at £12 each or five for the price of four, they are available via www.wcbcomedy.com/tickets or from the St George’s box office on 01493 331484.
To be in with a chance of winning one of three pairs of tickets to the evening, email the answer to the question below to paul@wcbcomedy.com.
