THE starting stalls are about to fly open at Great Yarmouth Racecourse for the first time this year.The racecourse has a schedule of 23 racing fixtures between Easter Monday and October.
With a number of the meetings being at weekends, in the evening or on public holidays, there is plenty of choice for seasoned racegoers and once-a-year visitors alike.
General manager Glenn Tubby said: “Easter Monday always gets the racing season at Great Yarmouth Racecourse off with a bang.
“As well as our regular visitors, it's a splendid opportunity for people who maybe haven't been racing before to try out the sport for the first time.”
On Easter Monday, accompanied children under the age of 16 are admitted free of charge. There will be children's entertainments, donkey rides, face painting, and fun races for youngsters on the track.

Visitors on Easter Monday who retain their tickets will be admitted for �5 into the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure (normal price �12) and for �10 into the Premier Enclosure (normal price �19).

Grandstand and Paddock tickets cost �12-�15, Premier Enclosure �19-�22.
