SHOW AHOY: There is still time to see Gorleston Theatre Company’s pantomime Treasure Island, which is running until Sunday at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston.

It’s the age old story of the search for lost treasure in this swashbuckling tale which sees hero Jim Hawkins and his panto dame mother set off across the seas in search of hidden treasures to help pay off their debts.

The pair are pursued by the pantomime baddie, Long John Silver, and his band of cut-throat pirates who are eager to foil the best laid plans of mother and son and steal the precious hoard for themselves.

Treasure Island will be staged from until January 15 at the Pavilion Theatre. Evenings January 11-14 at 7.30pm and matinees tomorrow and Sunday at 2pm.
