ARE you from Great Yarmouth, talented and would you like a little more than five minutes of fame with the chance to win cash prize?
A talent contest is being held at the King's Centre, Queen Anne's Road, on Saturday, February 21 from 11am-3pm. The finals will be held at the Inspire Aspire event taking place in March.
The events are being organised by Great Yarmouth People, Community Connections and Great Yarmouth Local Strategic Partnership.
A spokeswoman said: “We need comedians, magicians, dancers, singers, jugglers, choirs, musicians, and ventriloquists to enter a local Talent Contest. We would like people to come along to the Kings Centre for their chance to enter our X-Factor style talent show audition!”
Entry costs 1, and participants could win up to 125. The final is to be staged at the “Inspire-Aspire” Event on March 7, at the Marina Centre. There will be a number of free activities available for children, including face painting, arts and crafts and games provided by Great Yarmouth's Children's Centres, and a free buffet style lunch will be provided.
There will be local organisations present on the day to show the residents of Great Yarmouth what's on offer to help including training, skills, advice and support.
