London Contemporary Theatre brings an “exciting and innovative” production of the classic children’s story, Stig of the Dump, to the stage at St George’s Theatre in Great Yarmouth on Sunday, May 15.
Aimed at children over the age of four it is billed as an interactive show with plenty of opportunity for the audience to get involved.
The performance combines acting, singing, dance and puppetry to tell the story of Stig and Barney’s adventures.
Barney discovers Stig, a caveman with shaggy black hair and bright black eyes, and they get on well together.
Stig becomes Barney’s secret friend, not because Barney doesn’t tell anyone, but because no one believes that Stig is real. They have a great time, improving Stig’s den, collecting firewood, going hunting, and even catching some burglars who break into Barney’s grandparents’ house.
The performance starts at 2.30pm and tickets are £12 adults, £10 concessions, £8 children.
