ROLL UP! Roll Up! There is only five weeks to go before Jack and Peter Jay's all new Christmas Spectacular is staged at the Hippodrome, Great Yarmouth.

The exciting action-packed show for all the family will run from December 13 until January 4.

Peter said: “This new Norfolk tradition combines the best in international circus artistes, the unique water spectacle with synchronised swimmers, giant fountains and the magic of Christmas with a large children's troupe, hilarious clowns and sensational acrobats. It has been a stunning success making it one of Europe's largest, and most successful Christmas extravaganzas.

He added: “Our Christmas seasons have gone from strength to strength and I urge everyone to book early as many of these shows will sell out, especially our fabulous New Years Eve Gala show and Boxing Day. Yarmouth's unique circular 1903 auditorium, dubbed East Anglia's mini Albert Hall always looks fabulous at Christmas, with all the s decorations and atmospheric show with dynamic music and state of the art lighting. It's a fantastic experience for all the family, full of the magic spirit of Christmas. I predict this will be our best year yet and is an ideal festive family treat.”

The international circus artistes from Russia to Mexico with clown superstar Chico Rico includes elastic aerialists, fire breathers, rolling globes, German wheel and many other sensational acts together with the glamorous Estelle Clifton Dancers, the Jan Baines show swimmers who combine with the 30 Children from the Dance Estelle company.

Petyer says that the record breaking show has all the elements of a classic Christmas circus, full of the Yuletide spirit.

He said: “This is a show that has everything, thrills, spectacle, glamour, excitement and hilarious comedy.”

In addition, new this year all adult circus goers will receive a free ticket to the Santa's Winter Wonderland at the Windmill. It is a giant walk through exhibition, covering the whole of the theatre, that contains the Ice Palace, the disappearing Snowman, Santa's Elves magical workshop, Snow White and the seven dwarfs and Santa himself working hard in his toy factory. Cuddly giant polar bears, penguins and reindeer and fabulous lighting will make this new attraction the coasts number one Christmas Grotto.

There's a charge of £6 for children which includes a free present worth £4, for non-circus going adults, the charge is £2. The Windmill is just round the corner from the circus on the seafront and will be open from noon to 6pm everyday from Saturday December 6.
