STARTING this afternoon at Pakefield, is Pontin's Country Music Spring Festival, continuing until Sunday night. Lots of well known local artists amongst 18 different acts with 23 hours of live music, namely Cardy and Coke, Shaun Cuddy, Bar Hoppers, C'est La Vie, Stubby, Julie Dawn and Garry Blackmore.

With this festival over three days there are less club venues giving live “gigs” in our area.

On March 28 the Acorn have Brushwood duo, regular visitors to Norfolk. At the Stallion are the Hanks on March 27 an award-winning band.

Easter is traditional season for Hermancus Round up, Winterton, and it begins on Friday, April 2 with Tequila Sunrise. Saturday, April 3 sees First Chapter, Sunday, April 4 the Jeff Galant Band and finishing on April 5 with the superb C'est La Vie.
