A popular drumming group is adding a Gambian feast to its programme when it stages a fundraising event in Caister.
In its 12 years Dumisani African Drumming Group has raised an estimated £10,000 for a range of good causes.
Attracting ever-larger paying audiences its next ‘gig’ is at the council hall in Caister on December 2.
Joining forces with the Happy Day Gospel Choir there will also be serving a range of authentic Gambian curry-based dishes to complete the evening.
Lolo Wynans, from Scratby, said it was the first time they were feeding their fans at an event which is raising money for three schools and an orphanage in Gambia.
Dancer John Gomez, a key member of the group, will be presenting the evening. He has been collecting items and toys for youngsters in Brikama, his home town.
The event is billed as informal and interactive.
Tickets £8, £6, and £3 via 07910 727902 or email@example.com or via Facebook.
