FROM tomorrow until Monday the Somerleyton annual flower festival will take place at the Church of St Mary the Virgin.

The church opens daily from 10am till 5pm, and the theme is 'Songs of Celebration'.

AN art exhibition on the ocean's creatures, seascapes, rocks and trees will be taking place from today in Low Road, Reedham. The exhibition will include photographs, paintings and drawings and runs until October 31 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am till 6pm.

STAGE Door Youth Theatre are returning from their summer break this week, and will be straight into rehearsals for their forthcoming production of The Grinch.

A lively Christmas musical based on the Dr Seuss character, The Grinch who stole Christmas performs at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston from November 26 to 28.

BOOKS Upstairs will be holding a Roald Dahl fun day tomorrow (Saturday) from 12pm-2pm outside their new shop (above Sentiments) in Great Yarmouth Market Place.

All taking part will be given a book voucher, with one lucky winner receiving a golden ticket to swap for a 15 book set of Roald Dahl's best stories.

THE Nelson Monument in Great Yarmouth will be open this weekend for guided tours between 10am and 4pm.

To book a tour, call the Nelson Museum on 01493 850698. Un-booked tours will be sold at the Monument on the day.

The East Anglian Transport Museum at Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, will be holding its annual trolleybus weekend tomorrow and Sunday.

Normal admission prices ranging from £6.50 to £4.50 apply and include all rides.
