LOCAL ornithologist, Richard Kemp, is leading a dawn chorus walk at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, on Saturday, April 4. Some 95 species of bird have been recorded in the garden.

LOCAL ornithologist, Richard Kemp, is leading a dawn chorus walk at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden, on Saturday, April 4. Some 95 species of bird have been recorded in the garden. Woodland birds include green, greater spotted and lesser spotted woodpeckers, tree creepers and nuthatch. Coot, mallard, reed buntings and reed warblers, Canada geese, Egyptian geese and greater crested grebe all frequent the broads.

The walk begins 6am and includes a boat trip on South Walsham Inner and Outer Broads and ends with breakfast in the tearoom at 9am. Tickets, £18, should be pre-booked on 01603 270449/270683.

SPACES are still available on an Adult Education, Complementary Therapies/Head Massage Course. This is a one-off session at The Kings Centre on Saturday May 16, 9:30am-12:30pm. TICKETS are now available for HeartCare's annual concert given by award winning Great Yarmouth Brass Band.

The concert at St Marks Church, Oulton Broad, takes place on April 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets, which are £5 and include refreshments, are available by contacting Don Lacey on 01493 663707 or will be available on the door.

MEDIUM Donna Steward will visit Martham Spiritualist Group tomorrow night for an evening of clairvoyance from 7.30pm. Donna has appeared on TV's Sixth Sense, Psychic Detective, and Psychic Private Eye. This will be Donna's fifth visit to Martham where evenings of clairvoyance are held monthly with development classes taking place each Tuesday. INTERNATIONAL psychic medium Nicky Alan and her team will visited Great Yarmouth for an evening of mediumship next Friday, April 3. The group will also conduct a paranormal investigation of the haunted Hamilton Hotel overnight on Saturday, April 4.

FORMER Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis is guest speaker at this years' Wellbeing of Woman lunch. A regular guest on Channel Five's Wright Stuff, Janet will join members and guests for the lunch at the Cliff Hotel, Gorleston on May 13. GORLESTON Flower Club will be holding its spring flower show at St Peter's Church Hall, Gorleston on Saturday, April 4. The summer flower show will be held at Gorleston Cliffs on Saturday and Sunday, July 11 and 12 and the Autumn flower show has been booked at the Mill Lane Community Centre, Bradwell on Sunday, November 8.
