Regular supporters of Dusmagrik Young People’s Theatre Company are being urged not to leave it too late to buy tickets for their next show, Cats, as it looks like being a box office hit.

Director Mary Carter said: “We have been amazed at how early people started booking tickets for this show. It certainly seems to be a popular one.”

Over 30 members of the Gorleston based theatre group have spent half term working hard to polish their performances of the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T.S. Eliot.

One of the main characters is Munkustrap played by Aiden Pulford. The 17-year-old has been with the group since he was ten and is relishing the role.

The show will be staged at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston, from November 20 to 22 at 7.30pm nightly plus a matinee on the Saturday at 2pm. For tickets, call the Pavilion box office on 01493 662832.
