BRENDAN Shine will be appearing at the Pavilion Theatre, Gorleston on Friday, for one night only.

Brendan Shine started his band with school pal Johnny Dawson as a drummer and singer over 30 years ago and in that time has also appeared in all the big cities in the world playing Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Albert Hall and the the Opera House in Australia to name a few.

He had three albums in the top 75 in the UK and in Ireland he also has had 34 hit singles, 15 of which were No 1 in Ireland and 25 hit albums. The performance starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £15, £14 concessions.

Maxwell and Murphy duo are playing at the at The Ship in Pakefield tonight, Friday, at 9pm and then at Gorleston Bandstand on Sunday, from 2pm to 4pm. The 60s will be coming back with a bang at a concert that will be showcasing some of the finest sounds and most popular bands of the era. Named The Sensational 60s, the show will be taking place at The Marina Theatre in Lowestoft and include a performance by The Tremeloes, whose tunes include Do You Love Me. Also playing on Friday, October 1, will be Herman's Hermits, who have had 10 hit albums. And rounding off the night will be The Union Gap, whose single Young Girl made it to number one, while Alan Mosca will be acting as host. Rockers Canine Feline will be playing at the Kings Head in Loddon on Saturday. They will be playing a mixture of their own self penned rock numbers along with covers by Muse and Michael Jackson. The show starts at 9pm, be ready for an energetic performance by the female fronted four piece band. Singing superstar Tom Jones is to perform at Norwich City's Carrow Road stadium. The Welsh legend will appear on June 5 and his appearance follows that of Elton John in 2005 and George Michael in 2007.
