A spectacular Christmas Tree and Crib Festival will take place in Great Yarmouth Minster from Wednesday next week to the following Sunday.

Over 55 trees have been entered this year and refreshments will be available. For children there is a hunt and name the snowman competition, receive a Christmas present for £2, decorate a biscuit or mince pie, name the tiger, take your photo in a Christmas Head-in-a-Hoe photo board etc. The public will be asked to vote for the best exhibit.

Nativity storytelling will take place daily at 11am (except Sunday) and 3pm.

The event has been organised to raise funds for the repair of the minster’s fabric and organ. Entry is £2 per adult with children free and is open from 10am to 4pm daily, noon to 4pm on Sunday with late night opening on the Wednesday and Friday until 7.30pm.
