Motty pays a visit to Yarmouth

FOOTBALL fans are in for a treat when BBC legend John Motson and former footballer Ricky George give a talk in Great Yarmouth. The Match of the Day commentator, famous for his sheepskin coat, will be appearing at the Furzedown Hotel in Yarmouth on October 21 with George, whose goal for Hereford knocked Newcastle out of the FA Cup in 1972.

FOOTBALL fans are in for a treat when BBC legend John Motson and former footballer Ricky George give a talk in Great Yarmouth. The Match of the Day commentator, famous for his sheepskin coat, will be appearing at the Furzedown Hotel in Yarmouth on October 21 with George, whose goal for Hereford knocked Newcastle out of the FA Cup in 1972.

The shot into the bottom left corner of the net ensured the winger became part of FA Cup folklore for helping the non-league side complete its act of giantkilling against the Division One Geordies. The talk will start at 7.30pm.
