THE true blue engine who has delighted generations of children with his adventures is heading back to Norwich Theatre Royal for a brand-new fun-packed show.

Thomas and friends appear in an exciting adventure which sees them experience the thrills and spills of the big top in A Circus Comes To Town, which runs today and tomorrow.

In the show, Thomas makes a big mistake and has to persuade all his engine friends to work together to prepare for a really exciting event.

Thomas, the Fat Controller and the townspeople from the island of Sodor join forces to make sure everyone still has a good time.

In the show, the enterprising engines are joined by a colourful cast of circus performers in a story packed with audience singalongs, high-energy dancing and thrilling adventures.

John Bultitude, of Norwich Theatre Royal, said: “All the family will enjoy this engaging story which demonstrates the importance of friendship and co-operation.”

The show will be at 11am and 1.30pm today and 11am, 1.30pm and 4pm tomorrow. Tickets cost £5-£15, while under-ones are free, and there will be discounts for groups of four or more and friends.
