It’s comedy time again at St George’s Theatre! WCB Comedy are back with their regular monthly offering and you could be lucky enough to win tickets to this laughter-filled evening.
If you’ve had the pleasure of experiencing this evening of stand-up comedy, you’ll know you’re in for a real treat, and this month is no different as WCB’s Paul Dunn and Ross Downes bring the star of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Ireland’s Keith Farnan to St George’s.
Keith has performed as a stand-up all over the world, from Montreal to Amsterdam to Hong Kong. His four Edinburgh Festival shows have proved a powerful mix of the personal and the political and have sold out their runs at the major comedy festivals in the UK including the Soho Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall in London.
And that’s not all, the support acts include Geordie Christian Steel. Christian is a regular warm up man on shows for the BBC and has also supported some top acts on tour. Joining Christian and Keith, is former UK Pun Champion Darren Walsh. Darren is a former winner of the prestigious “Joke of the Year” at the Edinburgh Festival. Pete Philipson and Amy Gledhill complete the line-up for yet another side splitter at St George’s.
Tickets are just £10 each and available from http://www.wcbcomedy.com or by calling the box office on 01493 331484.
