A set of faulty traffic lights on the A47 have been repaired, according to National Highways.
It was reported last week there was an issue with the phasing of the lights near the James Paget University Hospital on Lowestoft Road in Gorleston.
The problem meant that only two to three cars were getting through at one pass, resulting in long tailbacks.
A spokesperson for National Highways said that contractors were at the site on Monday, November 6, and that the problem has been "solved".

The temporary traffic lights are in place while 500m of the storm draining system is replaced, which has been liable to flooding in the past.

The work is being carried out over the next four months with extended hours of working to get the project completed as soon as possible.
Contractors will be working at site from 7am to 11pm on weekdays only.
The spokesperson said: "We appreciate the patience of road users and local people while this work is completed."
