She has starred with Christopher Lee and Roger Moore and is well known to fans of Hammer horror films.

And now Caroline Munro will be meeting her fans at a Great Yarmouth convention focussed on all things horror, sci-fi and superheroes.

The actor, who appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me, Dracula AD 1972 and The Abominable Dr Phibes, is the first confirmed guest of Great Yarmouth Comic Con 2024.

The convention is being held at the town's horseracing track over the weekend of June 1 and 2.

A statement from organisers said: "We are pleased to be welcoming Caroline Munro to Great Yarmouth Comic Con 2024 sponsored by Castle Carvery (Caister).

"Caroline has starred in many movies and TV programmes, but is best known for her roles in classic Hammer horror movies, James Bond and Sinbad.

"Her list of co-stars is impressive. She starred alongside Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing in Dracula AD 1972, John Phillip Law in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad and Roger Moore in The Spy Who Loved Me as well as many more.

A row had broken out earlier this year when it was revealed the annual Out There Festival in the town would be held on the same weekend as Great Yarmouth Comic Con.

The Out There Festival is normally held later in the year.
