Great Yarmouth Football Club is opening a one-stop shop in the heart of its home town offering people access to sports equipment, healthier living and employment.

Good Sports, inside the former McColl's shop under Market Gates Shopping Centre, opens on Saturday, and will provide people with sports kits, information on sports and leisure meetups, and pathways to better jobs.

The new shop is a joint enterprise between the club and community project Football Against Dementia.

"With affordable - and even free - equipment, we want people to become more active in their lives. Access to a better life shouldn't be restricted to just those who can afford it."
