A new attraction has been added to Great Yarmouth's Britannia Pier just in time for the summer holidays.
The seaside staple, which has delighted holidaymakers since 1858, was bought by Triangle Amusements duo Joseph Abbott and Joseph Manning in December.
The pair quickly went to work revitalising the tourist attraction, bringing it up to date for the Easter holiday.

With pupils set to leave school for the summer on July 21, the owners have now upgraded the outside of the boardwalk amusement arcade and added a new ride to the pier's funfair.

The new Racing Coaster contains Formula 1-style gondolas has a capacity for 20 people per ride. Mr Manning said the gondolas and manufacturer were the same as those used at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi.
The ride replaced the water log flume and an old racing track. The Racing Coaster is expected to open within the next week.

Since the start of the year, the pier has seen alterations to some of its existing attractions, improved lighting on the boardwalk and upgrades to its amusement arcade.
Mr Abbott said: "We are very happy with the public response we have had since taking over and the support of the local community.
“While the update and changes are a work in progress, we think that in general the changes we have already made have made a great impact.
“The public seem to be enjoying it.”
